I have always loved doing anything that is creative. There’s just something about creating with flowers that gives people joy. I can’t think of a better feeling in the world than when I take a blank palette and transform it into something beautiful. When the bride and groom walk into the room and have a look on their face that shows how much they love it without even saying one word, that single moment is what makes everything worth it!
things i love:
01: the little things
It doesn’t take much to make me happy: a Reese’s cup, a hand written note, a surprise date night would have me beaming for days.
02.Family
When I tell people I have 7 kids I get the typical gasp, followed with, “how do you do it?” My oldest 4 are older and certainly help with the littles, but I couldn’t imagine not having a house full of people. We are a crazy bunch, but we love each other, and there’s never a dull moment in our household.
03: travel
I wish I could travel more than I do. I have always loved to study history, and try to do something educational in every trip that I plan. I think that’s the desire to be a lifelong learner in me. I have been to 28 of the U.S. states, and one day I will fill that photo map of the US that’s still hanging empty on my wall. :)
04: My favorite verse
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
I have been through quite the ups and downs throughout my life. One thing I can always count on is the faithfulness of my Savior Jesus Christ. His love never fails.
